Preparation
Thin-sliced chicken is cooked, separated, and chopped on the flat-top just like our original cheesesteak. Cheese is melted over the chicken before it leaves the grill. Our fresh Italian roll is served ungrilled by default, but it can be grilled upon request.

- Can I order it without bread?
- Yes. We can serve it without bread or over lettuce at no additional charge.
- Is the roll toasted?
- Never by default. Our Italian rolls are made fresh daily and we prefer serving them ungrilled. We can grill the roll upon request.
- What size should a first-time customer order?
- The 7-inch Shorty is the standard Amato's experience and the best place for most first-time customers to start.
- Can Amato's accommodate food allergies?
- We can take extra precautions when an allergy is disclosed, but Amato's is a shared kitchen and cannot guarantee an allergen-free order. The chicken manufacturer's complete ingredient and allergen label still needs verification, so please speak directly with staff before ordering.
