The Cheesesteak Sandwich
Amato's original cheesesteak starts with hand-trimmed USDA Choice Top Inside Round, hand-sliced in-house, cooked and chopped on the flat-top, then topped with melted White American cheese, salt, and black pepper. It is served on a fresh custom Italian roll made daily by Athens Baking Co. Add grilled or raw onions and customize it exactly how you like it.

Preparation
Each steak is hand-trimmed and hand-sliced in-house, then cooked, separated, and chopped on the flat-top. Cheese is melted over the meat before it leaves the grill. Our fresh Italian roll is served ungrilled by default, but it can be grilled upon request.

Allergy Information
Contains wheat and dairy when prepared with the standard roll and cheese. No-bread and lettuce options are available, but Amato's is a shared kitchen and cross-contact cannot be guaranteed. Guests with allergies or celiac disease should speak directly with staff before ordering.
When an allergy is disclosed, staff may clean part of the grill and utensils and change gloves, but an allergen-free order cannot be guaranteed.

- Yes — without bread or over lettuce at no extra charge. Over cheese fries is our Death Basket, priced separately.
- Can Amato's accommodate food allergies?

- Is the roll toasted?
- Not by default. Rolls are made fresh daily and served ungrilled; we can grill the roll upon request.
