The Veggie Works is a vegetarian sandwich. It is normally prepared in a separate pan, but Amato's operates a shared kitchen and may use a cleaned shared grill. Cross-contact cannot be guaranteed.

Preparation
Grilled onions, green bell peppers, and mushrooms are cooked together in a separate pan with olive oil or cooking spray and seasoned with salt and black pepper. White American cheese is melted over the vegetables before they are placed into a fresh Italian roll. When the grill is used, it must already be very clean and the vegetables are cooked separately from meat.

- Can I add a sauce or condiment?

- Can I order it without bread?
- Yes. It can be served without bread or over lettuce at no additional charge. Because Amato's uses a shared kitchen and equipment, we cannot guarantee a gluten-free or allergen-free order.
- Is the roll toasted?
- No. The Veggie Works is served on a fresh Italian roll that is not toasted or grilled by default.
- What size should a first-time customer order?
- The 7-inch Shorty is the standard Amato's experience.
- Can Amato's accommodate food allergies?
